About Ian


I am a versatile film-maker who straddles the opposing worlds of documentary and TV advertising.

In the former, I produce, write, direct and frequently self shoot presenter-led and contributor-filled shows about travel, adventure, food, art and architecture.

In the latter, I direct drama-based and comic TV commercials for big companies like Cadbury, BT, Dove and Kellogg's.

I have been a finalist at the Cannes Lion Advertising Awards for best New Director, and a runner up in the best UK Short category at the Raindance Film Festival for my short 35mm drama, “Imbroglio”.
